Our GIA Graduate Gemologist uses state of the art laboratory instruments and advanced technology for the examination and evaluation of diamonds, gemstones, precious metals, and jewelry items.
We check each stone loose or set, to determine if it is genuine, synthetic, or imitation. We examine it for clarity, cut, and color, as well as size and carat weight. We evaluate all jewelry for its metal content, the quality of workmanship and design. Color photographs of the jewelry accompany the Certified Appraisal Documents that Ariadne Fine Jewelry Repair renders for insurance and estate purposes.
As buyers and sellers, we know fair market values and appreciation potentials and we are familiar with replacement costs.
The fees imposed for appraisal work are very reasonable and discounts are available for multiple items at a time.
For customers who do not need an appraisal document, but want to know the identity of their jewelry, we offer gem identification services. Call for appointment for either appraisals or gem identification.
